Correx Disaster!

Messed up the correx. Ended up cutting it & bodged the whole thing up. 2mm was too thin to bend...

Argh!!

Stress!
 
Errgh, yeah, I used 2mm, I scored it so lightly it wasn't even cut in places and it bent ok, but you'd have to be reeeeally light handed with it, especially along the grain.

Try packing tape along the outside edge? I successfully made some little hideys and such that way out of scrap pieces when I was playing around with mine. Just one looooong piece of that wide, clear tape all along the edge, and another piece to reinforce the corners.
 
Got a 2.4m by 1.2m sheet of the stuff coming tomorrow (4mm thick though)

Looking forward to trying to find a 2.4m by 1.2m square to cut that on....
 
Oh god no its unrepairable. I got miffed with myself & basically just took the scissors to it & cut it out! I will have to buy more.

Looks like a right eye sore at the moment! :{

I was concerned 2mm would be quite thin so I went for the 4mm-to me even that's not very thick so I'm glad I went for the 4mm!

I let hubby do the cutting-that way if it went wrong I wasn't to blame. ;)
 
Hahahaha don't make me laugh! He's even less creative than I am! And pretty unhelpful ;/

I've roped my mummy into helping with the next one, where did you buy the 4mm from?
