Messed up the first correx so badly I had to order another.

This one arrived today & isn't even big enough for the cage!

I don't understand how you all order this & it's right, I do using the same website (one stop plastics) & it's too small!

I didn't check the measurements I stupidly assumed it'd be the minimum. As usual my cage will look rubbish.

I am so annoyed!!

122x122cm theirs right?

I use 8ft x 2ft sheets for protection.co.uk its called proplex but its the same stuff. These are large enough for upto a 6x2 C&C cage :D depending on how large you want the sides

I ordered a pack of 5 48x36 inch correx sheets which have done the 5x2 c&c cage with two sheets lengthways and the herds cage is currently 2 sheets widthways and one for the top section.

I had measured to know that I had a good foot either side to bend into sides for the boys, the girls have less of a side at the front as I need to be able to climb in, the back section and sides are a nice depth

I foolishly thought it'd be same size as the one I ordered which was more than big enough... It will fit the middle section of the 3x3 part then I'll have to patch up the rest with what I have leftover from that and the last lot.

Grrrrrr!!

its not easy, I managed to slice my finger on the scissors - just by holding them, not cos I slipped, I held the sharp end a bit tight rolleyes:red

I am hopeless. I ruined the last one cos I was rushing & panicking cos Billy had come to live with us a week earlier than I'd planned & I wasn't ready!

I'm getting my mum to come help me tomorrow night, I can't face it alone! Hahaha

don't loose heart it will be ok x

I just bought mine from ebay pity you were not close to me as I have a spare piece xx

It will be worth it in the end, just take your time, bet it will look fab when its done xx

I feel like paying one of you to come Do it for me! Haha

My mum is pretty creative I'm sure we will manage.. I'm dying to sort it sick of looking at shower curtains popping out the sides! Looks so untidy ;/

And this is just me with a single layer cage. Dread to think of the mess I'll make when I eventually add a second level!

Oh noes! Don't worry, you will get there in the end! I had a nightmare with mine too and made the correx too big after meticulously measuring everything mallethead so it wouldn't fit into the cage. I had a hissy fit but then calmed down and had to re-measure and score it all again, we got there in the end!

there is definately a market in th UK for pre made CC cages I think! lol :))

I was just really lucky. There is nowhere really Ican easily cut the stuff because it was raining when I did the first one.

I had 2 sheets of correx from the plastics shop, hubby used waterproof tape to piece it together and it's fine :)

There is no way I would have been able to do it-I'm rubbish with measurements and would have got it wrong.

He's doing all the wall pappering, carpeting and lighting in my dollshouse at the moment-men have their uses don't they?
Just wish he would hurry up so I can get to the best bit-furniture and accessories. :(|)

My boyfriend is absolutely more hopeless than me (god help me) so I've roped my mum in. It's weird because teacrate is where I got first lot from, this time one stop but it seems to be the same company?

I have enough altogether, it just may be bitty...

Gonna tackle it tomorrow night can't wait to have a proper tray!

Well it's done, it took 3 hours and has still gone wrong. It's all uneven, and now my grids don't fit together properly.

I absolutely hate it.

I don't kno how you all cope!
