Correx- B& q?

Hi, desperate to get some correx, living on the isle of wight is proving to be a problem!:hb: tried ordering from the aluminium shop but delivery to here will cost the earth apparently ,so not possible! Has anyone bought it for B&Q or Screwfix- cant find it online with either,do they have a different name for it? local independent builder does'nt sell int either. those are the 2 main " highstreet" building suppliers over here.thanks.
 
I know this sounds odd, but maybe ask an estate agent where they source iit from for their signs?
 
thanks, ive just contacted a sign maker over here ,for a plain 8 x4 sheet- they wanted £35+vat :eek:, dont know weather to laugh or cry !

Find a sign factory. They might even give you some off cuts for free. I work for one and i see it in the recycle bin sometimes. I dont have a c and c cage so i never use it

Yea estate agents use sign companies that soley do for sale boards. Worth a try. My brother worked fitting for sale boards. He used to have offcuts for me
 
got 2mm thick ,8 x4' off ebay, p&p free ,can buy one sheet, it will be sent rolled up. l brought 10 Sheets for 34£ ,
 
It’s also called “floor protection” the 2mm is what the rescue uses as it was easily available and cheap from Homebase. I paid a lot off e bay for my 4mm correx. :blink:
 
i managed to order some white 2mm on Ebay who deliver here :yahoo:,should be arriving tomorrow! the problem living over here is so many company's don't class us as mainland UK and want to charge a daft surcharge,even though we are classed as mainland UK.

Yes it’s like my family who live in Oban they get charged silly prices as people class them as inaccessible to get to but the Royal Mail delivers there daily and sellers want to charge them more for postage even though it costs the same to post.

It always makes me chuckle that they try to charge more to send to us-but it never costs us more to send to the big ,offshore north island! ( england) i might have to mention that next time ..

It’s called floor protection. But it’s only the 2mm stufff.

I can't see it on the website. I bought it in the store, I'm afraid I can't remember what they called it.... Sorry, no help me.
