Correct name

Can somebody tell me if there is a correct name for g/pig babies, I've googled and there is a difference of opinion I've read - piglet, pup and even mini-pig or do any of you have special names for babies. Thank you.:{

Good question! As the adults are boars and sows you would expect the babies to be piglets. But who knows?

Aren't mini-pigs the miniture pigs (with the curly tails - not guinea variety) that are becoming a new fad pet? rolleyes

The correct name for guinea pigs offspring is a pup.
