Being the creative person I am I've got bored of the cage I recently made for the piggies and what to change it up again 🤣 Uh oh 😂

This time, I think I was to do a pink piggy palace, of just cute girlyness, maybe make it look like a castle, who knows, but ideally I would like white or pink coroplast for the base, does anyone know of cheap places I can get either of these colours, in 4mm thickness (ideally) (in the UK)

Ive had a look but the places I'm finding seem to be relatively expensive, thank you in advance! 💗

Hi,
I've very recently received my sheet of 4mm White Correx.. Bought it from the Aluminium Shop on ebay. I'm in the UK too.
It was £7.99 for a 2400x1200 (8ftx4ft) sheet.. Because I wanted it delivered flat, that cost £14.99... But it's a huge sheet & think the courier used is a specialised one (due to size)
So, it's not cheap (total of £22.98), but worth it to get it home & up to me on the 3rd floor :D ...... It was in perfect condition too x
 
I bought my sheet of white 4mm correx direct from the Aluminium Shop also. It was £9.59 Inc VAT and £7.95 for delivery. Mine came rolled, within 2 days of ordering. Being rolled meant it wasn't flat on the floor when cutting, and had to be held down, but no other issues. If I had had time I would have done something to flatten it out, but I had to make the cage the day it arrived, but it wasn't a big problem.
 
Yeah, am sure they had a separate ebay item, for the correx being delivered rolled. Hope your base turned out ok?
My wire grids are arriving tomorrow or Friday :)
 
When I bought mine, it was a few pounds cheaper buying it direct rather than via eBay etc, you can pay a bit more to have it delivered flat. My base turned out well thanks, though I did manage to cut all the way through it by accident on one corner ! Hope your build goes well too.
 
That's great it turned out well. Oh dear, I have heard that you've got to be careful cutting the correx - I'm nervous about doing that part - just hope when I'm scoring the correx, it doesn't go straight through! Lol..
Thanks for your good wishes - I just hope I don't bugger it up! Haha :lol:

Ask a sign factory. They use it. We chuck loads out where i work
