I sent off for presized coroplast for the C&C cage I'm putting together. The coroplast sides are approx 6 inches high.
The cage sits on a table and when I'm sitting down on the sofa the six inch high coroplast is going to obscure the view of the piggies.
Other than the hay area where I could see one might now want hay flung onto the floor, if one has fleece is there any advantage to having the coroplast that high?

I don't have it that high... 2, maybe 3" is high enough I would say!

Unless its babies?! They can sometimes fit though the grids!

The new pig coming in a few weeks is a baby but an older one, O don't think the grids will be a danger. I migh trim the height in the front to be more like yours.

Baby when they are young can run though the grids its amazing the spaces they can fit though... so you might want to make it a bit taller.

Yeah you're right. Maybe I'll just wait til the baby gets here to see how big it is.

Do not know the exact age, she does not look tiny though. I'll wait and when I'm sure she can't squeeze through a grid I'll trim the front only.

Very wise to wait trust me I've been using grids for sometime now and always start off with high correx until I know they can't scoot through expecially as our cage is on a stand a fall from that hight would I have no doubt be very damaging if not fatal. Good luck and I look forward to seeing pics when the wee one arrives :(|)

I figured out what to do. I have some clear acrylic panels actually made for grids 'mini grid shelf liner', I will just make sure there is one of them in front of the grids that faces out to the outside of the cage where I want to trim down the coroplast. I had them on the back and sides to keep hay in but I have a few extras. Here's a picture of the acrylic panels so you get an idea of what I'm talking about, I drilled them and attached them to the upright grids with zip ties:
