HI everyone

has anyone made a second level in their standard cage, mine is 120 from zooplus.. just want to change cage about a bit and make most of the height. Will coroplast be strong enough to create a free-standing second level or will secure to the cage bars. Eventually when i have more room i would like c and c but not possible at the moment..

Any advice is extremely helpful? even any ideas...thank you..

It's not something I've ever done personally, but I think you would need some extra support, maybe a couple of C&C grids, or even like wire cooling racks from a supermarket! Cable ties are your friend ;)

Hi Amanda

I kinda had an idea of supporting the side panels with something maybe double coroplast, so it would be a structure that could be lifted out in a whole piece (kinda like when you cut the cardboard boxes and put them).. my idea is to create a ramp both sides to go up and down and a second floor on 3 sides around. At the moment they have bunk beds which they jump up and down on so they are quite confident at that height.. think i need to take a week off work for this! hehehe..

How do you fix the corosplast together at corners etc.. with glue? uch got the itch now, gonna go to B & Q.. get some ideas? any more ideas welcome..
