I switched to fleece some time back. I have a multi-storey cage so I have to have pieces of fleece with a hole in the middle to accommodate the holes where the ramps come up. It is also impractical to bring the fleece up the sides of the tray as it would mean taking the cage apart to tuck it under the bars so I have to cut it exactly to fit in the corners.

I put newspaper underneath the fleece and it works very well apart from one corner where my boar likes to go to the loo. I am finding that sometimes the newspaper sticks to the fleece in this corner I wanted to try something else, but what?

Do you use fleece in a shop bought cage? What do you do in the corners?

I use washable absorbent bed pads, but I'm not sure if this would work for you as you will need to cut a hole in the pad.

What about putting puppy pads in the corners to absorb the urine, i used to use this before the inco pads and they worked really well.

:)

You can cut the washable puppy pads (Aquamat) to whatever shape you need and they don't need the edges sewn.
