Corner Cage

I think I read somewhere on here that they weren't recommended. I'll see if I can find the link. :)

Cages like this aren't very good because when it comes down to it, a cage is all about floor space, and ramps take up alot of this floor space on both levels.

Looking at this cage it doesn't look like you can fit much else then the hidey houses provided in, as with much more there wouldn't be any space for the piggies to run around !

On another note it's also recommended that your cage should meet the minimum requirements for the amount of guinea pigs you have on just one level ideally, and not over two levels. This cage seems to measure 141 on the front where there are two bends that go in, reducing the actual space inside the cage to probably something more like 100x20x20x100x80, so you really don't get that much room here on the inside.

You can get much better cages for this sort of money ! :)

Thanks, confirmed my suspicions that they aren't very big. I'm just weighing up my options at the moment as I'll be going from 3 to 4 piggies in a few months when my lone boar has got through his adolescent stage.

Have you considered a C&C cage ? or are you looking for a shop bought cage ? I could give some suggestions of cages if you'd like ! :)
