Cool flooring

[Black piggies]

I use frozen water bottles on hot days which works well but I'm looking at my plump piggies having a choice of warm hay or warm fleece to lie on. Wondering what cool flooring they could have, a square of lino? Last year I bought a marble slab which they ignored.

I put a large ceramic tile in the cage. They quite often lie on it, sometimes just putting a bit of themselves on it.

There is a thing on Amazon you can buy, its called a “Kaytee Chin Chiller” its a small granite slab that you can slip in a freezer for a few minutes and put it in the hutch whenever it gets hot. Many peoples piggies lie on it.
