It's 3 months since I was posting on here about Cookie's dental issues. After 2 local procedures that caused more issues than they fixed, 2 weeks of keeping Cookie alive with constant syringe feeds and so much upset and stress, with the help of wonderful Debbie from TEAS, we got him to Northampton. Debbie took over with the syringe feeds until his appointment with Simon at The Cat and Rabbit Clinic. After 3 months with Debbie during which time he's had several procedures, an infection in his gum diagnosed and treated and a loose bottom incisor removed, he's home and reunited with Teddie. I wasn't sure this day would ever come. We weren't sure if he would have to stay at TEAS permanently, but Debbie and Simon are confident he is sorted. Of course I'll need to keep my eye on him, but he's keeping his teeth down well by himself, and it looks like the infection (which went undiagnosed locally) was the cause of all the following issues. It's been a long and expensive journey, but soooooo worth it. If only all vets had the skill and knowledge that Simon has this would have been a much easier and less expensive journey. But there was no way we were giving up on him and he's back where he belongs. Will be forever grateful to Debbie for enabling this
