I've never given my pigs corn but I know that some do as a treat- is it supposed to be cooked or raw?

Our piggies love corn 🌽. It is high in sugar though so shouldn't be fed too often. We buy the whole corn cobs including the leaves (we just cut it into slices) the piggies eat it all, just leaving the very fibrous bit from the middle.

Huh ... never thought of giving piggies the corn leaves ... any special concerns with the leaves? I imagine they don't have the sugar issues that the kernels do.

No no special concerns. I didn’t grow my own corn this year, but last year the piggies loved the leaves!

Hmmm, I never thought of the leaves! I'll have to try that the next time we buy corn on the cob with the leaves still on!

Mine love the outer leaves and silks.
I am sure I saw someone on here who used the leaves and rolled pea flakes inside them, and tied the end with a separate strip of a leaf.
I am not describing it well, but it made a super entertaining enrichment item that all of my piggies loved.
