HI everyone

As some of you may know, I'm planning a bigger home for my boys, I have been researching the c&c cages & I love them!

Alternatively, I have a (I think its 5 x 3) wooden framed run that I could use & put the correx inside.

Would you say 5 x 3 is room enough?

Not sure how I would add another level to this but its just an idea at the mo, also it has a lid so I can use this when needed.

Has anyone else converted a run into a home for their piggies?

Sorry for all the questions recently but I want to plan carefully to get my boys the best home they can have in the space I have in my living room!

My cage and run together is 5 x 3.2ft and it does seem plenty of space. I can't remember the site that tells you how much space you need per piggie. I am assuming you have 2 boys? Hopefully someone else can help us with the link?! You know yourself the more space the better :)!

Here's the link to the site, guinea-pig cages, which tells you how much space you need per piggy:

Hope this helps.

I don't have indoor cages, but I'm guessing the C&C would be easier to make extra levels with, however, the run is free (as you already have it).

Do you let your guinea-pigs out for exercise?

mine have access to there play area all day long! The recommended size is 30" x 50". Obviously the bigger the better!

Hi & thank you for the link

Yes the boys come out every evening.

I will think carefully as to what I do next & what furniture I have to chuck out to make room :))
