So I do still worry about Banner. He is surrounded by the other boars and interacts through the C&C, but he lives alone in his section.

He is eating, drinking and acting normally. He doesn’t have as much energy as he used to, but he is around 4 years old now.

he used to get on fine with Rocket (who we think was introduced to him as a youngster as he was quite a bit younger than Banner), but as you all know, it didn’t work out with Bruce (10 months old).

I have thought until now about leaving him in his own space with the other cages surrounding, rather than bonding. But then some people keep telling me that he would be best being bonded with a baby boar?

so much different advice, I don’t know what to do for the best? 😩
I don’t want to end up with a single baby boar if it doesn’t work

As he has through the bar interaction then he won’t be lonely - he can still see, smell, talk to other piggies. Yes, being bonded and living with another is preferable but being side by side is the next best thing.
The only way to guarantee a successful bond is via rescue centre dating.
