Steffie
Junior Guinea Pig
hi,
my shy piggie, pumpkin, has been snoozing/sleeping in the 'open air' since a few evenings: he is not using a hidey, but instead sleeps close to one, e.g. the tunnel tube, even without the brave one nearby (who is doing it (sleeping without immediate cover) regularly, and not only evenings).
maybe it is a just a matter of me being around to actually observe, though i regularly check in during the day and he is sleeping in/under something then.
maybe it is a matter of me being in the kitchen (they are just off the kitchen), playing music, in which case his confidence is tied into both classical, and big band swing music
does it make sense for evenings to feel more secure (even with lights on)? just curious!
