Hello, my Guinea pig has recently been making this noise and he sounds like he’s in pain. We took him to the vet but he only had a mild infection. He got an injection but now that he’s home, after a few hours he started making the noise again but more frequently. Does anyone know what this could be? Should I take him to the vet again? I added a video of the sound he is making. I appreciate any help.

It would help us if you can provide more detailed information

what medication/injection was he given?
What kind of infection does he have?
How long ago was he at the vet?
Were you given a course of antibiotics and painkillers to give him at home?

Does he do it while pooping or peeing? What infection did the vet suspect and what medication was he given for use at home?

I believe the vet said he had a mild respiratory infection. I believe baytril was the injection and baytril antibiotics as well for 2 weeks. We weren’t given any pain killers. The vet visit was around 13 hours ago. His appointment was at 1:30pm it is currently 2:35am. I have attached a video of the current noises his making that are more frequent.

I would go back to the vet if he is in pain
Antibiotics will take several days to really start to work.
Metacam (an anti inflammatory) is often given with a respiratory infection to help relieve discomfort.

Switch from the lifelong routine weekly weight checks and instead weigh him daily so you can more closely monitor hay intake. An unwell piggy/piggy in pain will usually reduce hay intake and that means you would need to step in with syringe feeding if the weight checks show there is indeed reduction in hay intake.

I'm sorry @Coffeeandsky I didn't mean to like you video I meant to turn my sound on on my lap to! Poor piggy sounds like he is in pain not something to like at all. Do you have another vet you can see for a second opinion, the respiratory infection may be a secondary infection to whatever is going on, it would help the vet if you can show him/her your videos.
