Colourful guinea pig toys

Hi! I have just brought some toys for my guinea pigs cage but most of them are wooden. I have read that colourful toys are good to make them interactive yet I can’t seem to find any that don’t cost too much and have read through the list of dangerous toys so I was wondering if you had any ideas. Thanks

@beautyandbella Pigs tend to like toys They can chew. So my boys get paper bags, toilet roll insides and cardboard boxes stuffed with hay or forage.

Personally I don't think piggies are too bothered about coloured toys.
As long as they can eat them or destroy them then chances are they will like them
They can see in colour, but sight is not their dominant sense, so apealing to their sense of smell and allowing them to indulge in natural behavious (like chewing) is more important.

My lot love their plain wooden houses and spend hours chewing them, so it sounds like you are on the right track with some wooden toys for your piggies.

Mine have very colourful fleecy tunnels and hidey houses but they also have wood, cardboard, and woven seagrass toys and furniture to chew on! I wouldnt give them any coloured things they might chew on, stick to natural colours and materials for that but you could brighten things up with some colourful fleece.

I used to give my piggies colorful wooden chew toys, but they wanted nothing to do with them. I've given them paper bags, toilet paper rolls, and willow balls and they seem to like them more
