Colin's Fur!

Betsy hates being brushed too but all those flowing locks need to be looked after! At the mo she has a very fashionable wedge cut around her bum! So far she hasn't let me take any piccies of it as she's sulking cos I cut off her beautiful skirt. The boys like her new 'do' though can't think why!:cool::sly::whistle:

I didn't do a very good job of cutting Colin's fur either!
 
It is hard. In the summer, Betsy had a grade 4 all over. I had to bribe her with her favourite parsley which she doesn't get very often and Tom had to stop her from running off towards the end as she was getting very fed up. It didn't take long but I don't think she liked the noise of the pet clippers much! She did, however, enjoy feeling much better and did zoomies a lot!

what clippers do you use? I bought some off zooplus and they didnt take any fur off, just made the noise!
 
I use Just 4 Pets Prostyle Pet Clippers. Think I got them of Ebay - or it could have been Amazon not sure now.
 
Oki hates being brushed! She jumps around everywhere, so we get our vet to come (I'm too scared I'm going to accidentally cut her when she jumps) and cut it quite short so that it's much easier to brush.
Although she hates it , she feels so much better once her hair is short and it's not weighing her down! She popcorns all over her cage and does lots more zoomies.
 
Aww how cute! That's how I know Betsy needs a bum trim! She starts jumping about too cos it hurts. I brush her every day too!
 
Yep, the daily morning brush is what Oki hates the most :xd:
But her bum hair - if not cut- can get so knotted it's impossible and bless her she starts getting very grumpy. All her hair must be quite heavy.

I get grumpy too if my hair gets all knotted! :lol!: Which is does frequently as it is completely MAD:stu: And is so out of control I have given up trying to style it! :whistle: If I get a hairdryer anywhere near it I look like I've been pushed through a hedge backwards!:woot: Even my hairdresser daren't get a hairdryer anywhere near it! :yikes:Everyday is a bad hair day! :soz:When it is worse than usual I put it in a ponytail.:own:
