Hi everyone,

As we all know it is starting to get colder and will be approaching the winter months soon, which means I need to think about how to keep my piggies warm. This will be their first winter and they are indoors so that does help I guess. I live in the south east where it does get cold, but probably not as cold as up north. I would just like any tips on what to do over the winter months. I have already ordered the winter survival pack from piggie parcels so hopefully that will help a little. Any suggestions would be appreciated x

As they are indoors then keep the heating ticking over to keep the temperature within their comfort range (18-24 degrees) and it should be fine. You could throw a blanket over the cage if it does get chilly to help create a warm spot, but if you are warm then they will generally be warm too. Giving them snugglesafes in their beds can be nice for them but if the room they are in doesn’t drop below their preferred range then it should be ok for them
