Coconut Oil And Grease Glands

I've just used coconut oil for the first time to clean my boar's grease gland and was very impressed with how well it works and how quickly. However, I haven't washed or rinsed it off - is this OK? Sorry if this is a daft question but my anxiety is taking hold again and I'm worried I should have washed it off afterall.

I use it too! It really does work well. I didn't wash it off after either, just rubbed any excess off with a tissue ^-^
