This morning I was cleaning their cage and I said wheel week to call them for blueberries. Usually coco would come running, but she’s not☹️And she won’t touch my hand or follow my hand like she did yesterday. I’m frustrated at this point

Please take a deep breath. Piggies are more like little children and not like programmable robots. It is always a one step forward, two steps back progress. Pick up again on a lower level and work up from it again; it should happen faster with each time you have to do it. Try to keep your own expectations on a more realistic level. Animals and small children do what they do and not necessarily what you want them to. You have to adapt to them if you want to get them to a certain goal or as close to it as possible. ;)

You will get there (mostly) but it is simply not as straightforward or predictable as you think with animals that run on prey animal instincts and have finer senses than you (with the exception of sight), so they can be spooked by things or sudden motions of yours that you wouldn't be even able to notice.

I’m afraid patience is the name of the game. Try not to put human expectations and emotions on them. I would also say not to be too generous with the blueberries.

thank you for the advice, Wiebke and @Siikibam. Sometimes i forget that, there not me,and they take time to adjust to their owner and feeder. The piggies love blueberries and always run when i call them, but i got fustrated becasuse this is sometimes what happens in the morning. But i'll try and be patient!

You have to take it at their pace. If they don’t want to come to you or to be stroked then you have to allow them that choice. How long have you had them now?

Coco for less than a year and Olivia for a year and a half or a year.
