can guinea pigs get coccidia? i have 3 infected chicks and obviously i am washing hands thoroughly in-between, but they are at opposite ends of the same room (snow, so pigs are indoors) and i can’t find too much abt guinea pigs & coccidia

Guinea pigs can get coccidia; thankfully it is pretty rare in pet piggies. They can have them without necessarily showing symptoms; although the most common acute symptom is diarrhea.

Good that you are extra careful. Always feed, handle and clean the piggies before the chickens; this helps additionally to minimise the risk of transfer.
