Closed healing wound (?)

A week after timothy’s bladder stone operation we were prescribed twice daily iodine flushes for two weeks in the open wound on his belly. We have finished the round of flushes and the wound appears to be closed. I’m just worried about pus inside not being drained. Taking timmy into the vets for a once-over in about five days. I don’t expect a diagnosis from just a couple of photos but I just wanted to see if anyone has input. Does it look infected? Should I let it continue to scab over? The string is the stitch. His weight and behavior is the same. He looks okay to me but anyone notice anything? Timmy says thanks!

Hiya! Looks like a nice healthy healing site to me, definitely let it scab over, it’s the only way it’ll heal. Behaviour and weight are super good indicators but if you’re worried just feel around the area (with washed hands!) if it feels hot (it should be warm because you’re directly touching the skin) or the skin around it looks red/swollen that would indicate infection.
