Has anyone ever used clicker training on there piggies? Ive just been researching a bit and watched some clips on * tube.

I've never heard of clicker training working for piggies. I've read most book and studies on piggies and there's no mention of it but that's not to say people haven't tried it - they're very vocal so it may work as they are able to recognise a lot of sounds.

I haven't tried it myself, but my kids know their names and words like 'no' and 'treat' so I don't see why they couldn't respond to the clicker too. Let us know what they learn!

Ha ha to guinea pig slave! Well said :)) I will give it a go, i imagine Jem and Spike will take to it, they seem pretty intellegent. However I'm not so sure about my other boys, Ted and Dougal couldnt care less zzz and Jasper and Dexter have me far to well trained themselves! I will keep you posted!

If my piggies are not getting back in their snuggle sacs to be carried from run to hutch, I click my fingers and they jump in - but it might be totally unrelated to the clicking:)) Goodluck for training......

Thats interesting, they are responding to a sound. I bet its related. I am currently teaching Jas that a click means a treat, then i will move on. I was pleased because i thought the noise would frighten him but he doesnt mind. Dexter is too busy playing to care. But Jasper is my 'guinea pig' so to speak :))
