Cleo’s poorly ☹️

Can’t quite believe it, poor Cleo is very wheezy and noisy breathing, suddenly started a little while ago! :no:
She’s just sneezed and has one rather wet nostril, I’ve had a good look and can’t see any hay trapped etc. She definitely wasn’t like this yesterday as was in with her most of the day, didnt hear a peep this morning either, only heard her about 30mins ago when I went in and there was really wheezy breathing going on from her hidey:(
She’s eaten her pellets and veg this morning and seems quite bright thankfully, but bless her my poor girl. Third vet appointment (at 3pm as earliest I could get) since she arrived on the 11th November! :no:

Just wondering if there’s a particular antibiotic that’s better for her being a youngster, was thinking Sulfatrim is best? Obviously had to get in my local vets as a bit of an emergency so I’ll be speaking up on what I want her on really!
 
Oh poor Cleo. But good slave for picking up on it so quickly. I hope she’s feeling better soon. Paws and fingers crossed here ❤️
 
Thanks @Siikibam, hoping it’s something easily treatable but feel terrible for her being so young! What a nightmare! :doh:She’s really not had the best start the poor little lady :(

Poor little Cleo, hope its nothing serious and the vet can sort her out- she needs to be well for her wedding! Hugs and healing wheeks x

She’s really quiet now! :doh:But does sound a bit snotty when she’s out on my knee bless her, she’s munching a bit of carrot atm. So much for my bed day after fit last night, she likes keeping me on my toes this little beauty! XDHopefully she’ll fight off whatever this is like the nasty lice! 🤞
Definitely needs to be on top form for her wedding like you say @PigglePuggle! Only in 13 days! :)

They both seem pretty smitten so far! Jasper follows her every move and she’s always at the bars wanting kisses! :love: Going to be a very sweet little couple if/when they get together I think! Just hoping she doesn’t boss Jasper around too much as he’s a sensitive soul bless him and she’s definitely getting feistier! :))

We’re home! Her and Jasper zooming around the cage like nutters as very happy to see each other! :love:
Thankfully her chest is clear (phew!) and heart sounds good, looks like she’s probably just had some irritation from hay etc as she’s only sneezing clear fluid and she’s a little bit snotty in one nostril. So she’s having a course of sulfatrim (0.25ml twice a day) and I’m giving her metacam for a few days, loves it already and pinched the syringe! :)) Thank god for that! Vet commented how much better with handling she was today too, didn’t try and fly of the table today but I did warn her about the bitey nashers! :)) Weighs 670g today :)

And in true wonky house fashion she came out of the carrier with some hay poking out of her eye (only a soft bit thankfully!) and the vet had to run to get a cotton bud to get a bit out from under her eyelid! Yup, she’s definitely trouble this little madam! XD:wub:

Awww glad to hear Cleo is okay! She sounds like she may be a little Diva pig 😂
 
So glad it wasn’t anything serious with Cleo - just her deciding you didn’t have enough to worry about!

She and Jasper will be a delightful couple. They are both so gorgeous

Thank you :) Yes it’s all four piggles last lice treatment on Saturday so she’s got to make sure I’m kept busy! :)) It’s a good job she is so gorgeous with all this worry she’s caused me in the month she’s been here! :))

Lucky you my girls get their last lice treatment 28th December. They didn't like the 2nd treatment so I'm sure they won't like the third!

Yes my gang haven’t liked theirs much! Luigi had a strange reaction last time and was really fidgety, then kept really grooming at it and eating cardboard, so think it also gave him a dodgy tum. So I’m definitely not looking forward to this one at all! Hope your girlies don’t get too stressed with it bless them x
