Hi all, how do you go about cleaning under the loft on the ground floor? I don’t fancy crawling under

I used to use a stool and just contort myself! Or an easy way was to pull the fleece towards me then sweep any pops fallen onto the correx towards me. And it was on the ‘wrong’ side meaning I had to use my left hand to clean. I made the ramp so I could lift it out the way though. (Can you do that with yours?)

When I had a loft I used one of those grabber sticks. I used it to grab the fleece to gather poops daily and then for cage clean I put a wet wipe with cage cleaner in the grabber claw, and wiped round the correx underneath the loft. I'm quite short so had to do it this way.

I think it’ll only move a little bit as it’s cable tied on, haven’t tried yet will let you know

My ramps are cable tied on at the top so they lift up. I pull the fleece towards me and shake the poo into the centre and either fold the whole lot up and shake over the veg patch or suck up with the vacuum cleaner nozzle. I've an old Henry, I hold the nozzle sideways on so it doesn't suck the fleece up, just the poop.

One of my pairs mostly poop under the loft, it's the cage I have to reach across three grids to get to the back as well. Henry is brilliant for cleaning cages as he has a plastic bowl that detaches from the electrical parts, I can fill it with hot water and disinfectant to give it a good clean.

I have a detachable hoover but I blocked it with hay on the first use  Gonna have to start poking it out
