I have just put the hutch covers up to clean them ready for the pigs to go outside, but I found water had gotten into one of the hutches and there’s fungal stuff growing inside.

What is a good, pet-safe way to ensure that it is cleaned enough for my pigs to go in? I’ve chucked the wooden tunnel that was in there, but I don’t want to have to replace the hutch if I can help it.

A good scrub with F10 disinfectant. I find with my hutch cover that the rain sat on top causing mould to start growing on the inside of the roof of the hutch. I gave it a good scrub with F10 and put two bricks under the front part of the cover so it raised up and the water ran off easier. That was a couple of years ago and I haven't had any issues with mould again since

Can that be sprayed on and left, or does it need washing afterwards?

Thanks guys! I’ve ordered some F10. I also jet washed the hutch while we had some sunshine yesterday (finally!) and gave it a scrub. It was gross :vom:
