Cleaning Litter Tray

Hi! My board have a hay tray in the corner of their cage which they also use as a litter tray. I want to keep it clean but it has weed residue in the bottom that won't come out! What would people recommend as a 'pig safe' way to clean it?

People recommend vinegar, I use a normal cage cleaner for mine pee stains are a pain, but apparently white vinegar is piggy friendly and good at cleaning.

If vinegar on its own doesn't work, try sprinkling bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) all over the residue, then spray some vinegar onto that. It'll fizz a whole lot amd works really well to clean dirty residues.
