Clean Cage...for A Moment At Least!

I deep cleaned the cage today, well that happened yesterday and the day before. Today I wanted to make sure that everything was dry before I put in clean liners. This was the cage just after I had put everything back in, minus the piggies who were still in their pen. I hadn't added the water bottles or the smaller hay tray to the loft.

The black dome thing in the corner I purchased today. It has one of my lap pads in it as the fleece it came with had not been wicked. I bought it from the What! Shop for £6 and it was advertised for cats and small animals. I wanted the beige one but they only had black.

I admit that I simply stood, admiring the clean cage...because I knew that it wouldn't be looking like that after I returned the herd.

I know that standing just looking at the clean cage moment, how do they manage to spread hay and poop around in the blink of an eye?

And a short time later, I was treated to this sight: an exhausted Fudge! I have never seen one of my piggies using a cuddle cup like this! All I had done differently is add a water drip pad to the bottom, and the extra snugglines must have been too much

I'll just pop some hay in the carrier, and be over to collect them in about 8 - 10 hours

Looks fab ! Don't they nibble the pads? Mine do if there is a tiniest bit showing ... they also nibbled a bit of their bunting in their cage - so it's been moved higher out of cute mouths way !

Thank you everyone. Fudge is adorably cute... but she also has three ASBOS. And is a downright wriggler. And I love her for it
