Any one else like this?

I have specific clothes I wear for work which I consider "dirty" as the hospital is full of superbugs etc, and "clean" clothes which I ear away from the hospital, and the two never cross over.

is this just another weird phobia? ;D

I am the same, the uniform I wear for work isnt actually dirty as in visible spots of dirt, but the thought of all the people and things I touch each day makes me wash them extra hot.

Even though every public transport seat or table in mcdonalds is probably three times more full of germs and bugs. so its silly really.

Oh no not a phobia ;) ;) ;) ;) ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hey to tell you the truth i totally don't blame you, everyone i know that works in a hospital does exactly the same thing O0

That makes absolute perfect sense to me personally O0 I also feel extremely dirty when I come home from somewhere so look forward to my bath and bung it all in the bath - it takes a while to feel nice and clean.

Than I do worry so.

Just like me - the first thing I do is rip off the hosp clotehs and have a bath and hairwash. I also have to wash my ear thoroughly because phones are one of the most germy things around. I disinfect my work phone every morning, but I still have to wash my ear.

I go totally spack at work if i find out somebody other than me and Allan has been on my phone for the same reason :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff:

we need a smilie that shows somebody going BLAH somehow? Any ideas?

;D ;D ;D

Phones really are disgusting, aren't they? I never wear earrings to work for the same reason.

I'm so glad I can talk about my "eccentricities" here ;D

well then you'd have to disinfect them all the time, wouldn't you?

So glad I'm not alone on this ;D

if you want to think about disgusting things that are work related - work toilets, door handles, cups (some people dont put them in the dishwasher, but just rinse them out and pop them back into the cupboard), KEYBOARDS oh god the GUNK thats in between the keys if its a shared computer..

I have my good clothes, jeans, belt and my black t-shirt... the rest of the stuff in my wardrobe i dont wear ;D I also wear my good clothes horse-riding where i come home filthy but hey... thats what you get when your a horse freak ;D

I know, I think about those things all the time :(

I once asked - does anyone clean the door handles in this hospital?

eew.. it i can hold out till we get home i dont use public toilets..theyre discusting!

I never used to use them. I went 12 hours travelling once :o

If you can squat over the it's OK. ;D

I think your all bonkers (in a lovely way) but i grew up living through my Dads OCD so I'm kind of the opposite now

I hover over toilets if I have to go for a pee. Am I weird that I cover my hand up if I open a toilet door as sometimes people have had a you know what and don't wash their hands after it and open the doors? :P

I definately agree especially where public toilets are concerned. I'd rather hold on, as normally you have to take a deep breath before you walk in and hold it again until you rush out :D I'm awful - if my kids need to go when we are out I make them hang on until we get home ;D May sound cruel, but its the thought of all those germs :(
