I tried it for the last cleanout of my hay crate and it's the best thing I've ever used! It took all pee stains off in no time with no effort!

I've tried everything, Fairy liquid, jif creme, cillit bang, vinegar... nothing takes out the stains like citric acid. Here it's sold in baggies and it's not expensive at all. I just rinsed off everything with hot water, sprinkled citric acid on the stains, left it on for a minute or so and then scrubbed everything off with one of those green kitchen sponges. No stains!

Petra sounds fab........... does it smell like lemon tho?
i can't do lemon :...
i need to clean off a few marks in the girls house i've used hot water and a teensy bit of vinegar but so dam scared to use anything else :{

I bought it in the grocery store... by the spices... but it may be different in your country. It doesn't smell like anything, Glynis! (unlike the white vinegar which always made me gag...)

When I was about 10 we used to buy it and mix it with sugar to make candy sour powder. It's bad for your teeth like you wouldn't believe... Citric acid is what they put in sour lollies so it's nothing dangerous for the piggies (except for the acidity, but then they won't eat it :) )
