Penny is having a bloating episode. I had given her 0.1 ml of cisapride about 3 hours ago but gave it to her on a pellet since she wouldn’t take it by syringe. About an hour ago she started looking more uncomfortable, so I wondered if giving cisapride on the pellet really did anything. I was able to give her another .05 ml by mouth in case she really didn’t get much from the pellet. Was this okay? I just felt bad seeing her so uncomfortable and wanted to help :(

I'm pleased Penny is eating again.i would go to weighting her daily so you can get a correct idea if she is maintaining her weight, step in with syringe feeding recovery food if needed.i would also visit th vet if you are concerned about Penny.ive Fiona that has bloat at present, she weights 915 grams, has been prescribed 0.1mls twice aday.i titrate the recovery food according to her daily weight.i hope Penny continues to be well.
