Last year I gave my piggies some tiny bits of the Christmas veg as a treat, however this year its a little harder as I have a piggy prone to cystitis (thankfully hasn't had a flare up since early August) and a piggy prone to tummy upsets (again thankfully no flare up since early August) both these seem to be brought on by stress but I generally follow the bladder and tummy Diets in forum guidelines, I want to give them something a little different as a treat for Christmas (in a very very small portion) but I'm wondering whats safe to do so, is there any herbs that would be good? I usually feed coriander, I think they'll all be fine with a teeeny bit of carrot but guessing I should avoid the sprouts/ broccoli and they aren't interested in parsnip! I have got some piggy parcels forage for them so I don't want to overdo the treats but would love to give them something a bit different! Any suggestions very welcome!

I read a recipe for guinea pigs food ideas online btw do u know how difficult it is to find something special for your guinea pigs to eat on special occasions lol but the recipe said that take some pellets any pellets which your guinea pigs like and take any kind of soft fruit or vegetable which your guinea pig likes and mix them in a little bit of water until they are a little hard paste like. Then make some of your own pellets out of the mixture and either sun dry them or bake them on low heat until solid and let them cool. I didn't tried this recipe but this is the only thing I found❤
