Christmas crackers...What a Rip Off!

Been buying my crackers for Christmas lunch...The more you spend the more rubbish you find inside, so have opted for pretty ones for the table ::)

What a load of **** inside these things, where do they get them from ;D
 
yes i agree! They are silly prices for stupid things inside.

I've just brought some cheap ones.
 
We get the make your own ones in the sales - can usually get them for about 50p, then make them in the following early december putting nice choccie in them.

I don't like to pull the crackers as the bang reminds me of fireworks which I really hate
 
I bought a £20 box from Boots last January for £5, I don't normally do that but it seemed too good to miss :)
 
Want to buy some tomoz for the children to make themselves,any ideas :-\

Last year my son made some with toilet roll middles, a picture and a sweet in and wrapped in paper and tinsel. OK so they don't go bang you kind of have to improvise with your own BANG as you pull them but he enjoyed making them :)
 
two years running I got a little set of screwdrivers out of crackers. I still use them now. I carry one set around with me and you'd be amazed how often they've come in useful. :) I love crackers and all the rubbish you get in them. I'm always the one saying "do you want that? I'll have it" ;D
