Chirping?

Last night my guinea pigs were making a really strange noise. at first I thought it was them banging the bowls together, you know that sound you get where two people clink a glass together, it sounded just like that.

I have no idea what it was all about but whenever I went in there it stopped. it was so odd. It got higher in pitch then stopped then started again...

does anyone know what or why or how or anything? xx

Its supposed to be really rare and they say you should feel priviliged if you gets pigs that chirp. ive had a fair few pigs and never heard it before until i had Millie and Cheryl and i heard them do it about 3 times, not sure which one it was as they were always in their bed area, it went on for ages, i recorded it on my phone ans played it back to everyone and they couldnt believe it. We lost Millie a few weeks ago so not sure if we will get to hear it again, I'm also gutted because i lost my phone aswell with the recording on should of saved it to my pc.
