I can only describe it as this..

In the evening when I am drifting off to sleep, I wake up to the sound of Guin and Ton 'chirping'. Not a sound I've heard before!

its the guinea pig song you lucky girl not many hear it I have heard it about 4 times in all my years the rest of the shed go dead quite and watch and dont move a muscle, same for me my daughter we heard it one day and we thought it was a bird but watched daisy stretch her head high and the song got higher and higher then she stopped and carried on as if nothing had happened leaving me and my daughter stunned its amazing and very beautiful, that was the first time some one else heard it with me, think I read its a throw back from their ancestors to warn of enemys maybe, but it stunned me and left me feeling so privilidged, I long to hear it again,

Yeah - thats what i thought it was.

Crikey! :o :o

It is beautiful. It's Ton who makes it, and heard it twice. But something I really want to here again! :)

it sounds just like a bird singing, its really awesome and we stood there thinking " wtf " and wondered where it came from

then Monet barked & it stopped!

Its funny that this has been brought up as I am sure I heard mine doing it today - I was upstairs & couldn't make it down in time. Can only be described as a canary type chirp. Could have been anything though as I didn't actually see it. Have been longing to hear it :)

you will know when you hear it believe me its amazing this such high beautiful song coming from a furball that normally wheaks, and wtf is a good first thought, ;D ;D ;D

My Pebbles does this quite alot, I don't have a clue why but it is very nice. Though she got into a habit of doing it quite early in the morning which was slightly annoying when I was trying to sleep! ;D

I've only heard it on 'You Tube' it's awesome, you lucky things to have actually experienced it :)

Can you find a link for this please?
Ive never heard it

I've had a few piggies do it. Its usually sows who 'sing' but I have had the odd boar do it :). If you whistle at your pigs in the same sort of way it has the same effect ;D
