Good luck - it’ll be lovely to hear news in the futureWell sadly little Leo was not a good match for Bumble. When Leos hormones kicked in it was very apparent that Bumble was not happy . Cue a vets trip for a UTI as Bumble had been constantly hiding under the hay away from Leo. We had to make the heartbreaking decision to return Leo to the rescue and try a different option for Bumble. Because Bumble was dropping weight and not moving about much due to Leo's dominance and Bumble being too soft hearted. I'm not posting the new addition just now incase I tempt fate again. But they've been together since the 6th of November and he's an adult too so I'm hopeful. (If I could manage 4 piggies then Leo would have been staying but unfortunately I can't manage 4 at the moment)
Thanks. So do I. If they don't get along I will split the cage and have live alongside piggies. Can't go through that heartbreak again. But I had to think of Bumbles happiness. He seems to like his new friend.I have my fingers crossed they stay happy together.
Thanks. It was a hard decision to make but I felt I never had an option. Bumble was becoming more and more withdrawn and Leo was becoming more and more dominant to the point Bumble never moved about the cage much at all. He seems happier now and is popcorning about. I think wee Leo needs an adult that's going to put him in his place. Or neutered and to live with girls. He wasn't aggressive physically to Bumble, more mentally. ,Sorry things didn’t work out with Leo.
Hope Bumble is happier with his new friend
