Chewing cardboard

Is chewing a cardboard tunnel bad for piggies? They have plenty of fresh hay, they just live chewing the tunnel too.

So long as it is plain cardboard (not shiny cereal box type) then it’s fine, well more than fine. I chuck in a box/loo roll etc for enrichment. Just make sure there is no tape or glue or anything on it

Oh yes, a nice bit of cardboard or a paper bag to chew on is great fun.

Mine love cardboard! I always save paper towel/toilet paper rolls for them & they go crazy, especially when I stuff them with hay.

My piggy seems to like playing with an old toilet paper roll stuffed with lettuce. Although the food doesn't last long!

Cardboard is Hector’s favourite thing. We would definitely have protests here if no cardboard was provided!
