Since separating Branston and Norman, Branston is constantly chewing on his c&c grids! I can’t work out if it’s because he wants to get to Norman, he’s bored (has lots to do in there!) or what. Worried he’s going to hurt his teeth and also it’s driving me nuts! They live in the spare room in side by side cages and the spare room is right next to ours. He has started doing it at 5am every day. Right now he’s been at it for a good 10 minutes and I did just have them both out separately. I wondered if there was something I could put on the bars or any other tips to get him to stop it!

If he is the instigator of the fights between them, then chewing bars and that kind of behaviour is to be expected. You do just need to ignore him. If he is trying to get to Norman, then it won’t be for positive reasons.
If you do a search on the forum you will find a threads with a variety of ideas for covering the bars
