Chewing bed

My pigs have this hooded bed (link below)

They are chewing at it alot. Is this normal and safe or should it be removed

I've had that bed and it did get chewed a bit. Rather than removing, I'd add in wooden stick bridges or straw mats or wicker tunnels, and give plenty of hay, in the hope they'll chew those things instead, and monitor. Do the piggies seem OK?

They seem fine. They've plenty of hay, and chewing bits so hopefully they'll go back to that chewing that stuff when the novelty of the new bed wains.

Ah that's great. That's what I did. I'd remove if I felt they'd bitten a lot off.

This is normal, they chew things to keep their teeth from over-growing. I would recommend some un-treated sticks you can find in most Pets at Home stores in the UK.
