Cheeky Piggies :)

I could swear my boys wait until the moment I get into bed at night to start playing with their crumpled paper!

Do any of your fur babies have cheeky or annoying habits? :yikes:

:lol!::lol!:

I like the way mine spend so much time running away from me - but they always get in my way when I'm spot cleaning !

I like that, that sums them up all over....

I'm liking this thread!

None of my piggies habits annoy or irritate me in the slightest.. In fact it always makes me smile. But red does have a habit of running around squeaking loudly in his cage of a night time.. I sweR he never sleeps!

Archie chooses just before dawn to get hay stuck in his throat, this makes him breath like a creepy old man and make this really really loud OOOOH sound, which sounds like he is distressed but he isnt, he sits there making this damn noise till i wake up. I used to worry and think he was in pain, but he never is, he sometimes forces me to cuddle him, but usually hes eating. He did this last night and i poked him and said just cough it up, shut up. A minute later, there was a vile cough and then silence. He could cough it up at any time, but nooooooooope he waits until i am fully awake and moan at him. He absolutely does it to annoy me, he is such a troll.
I have a new pillow, this dog cushion cause i sit on the floor to use my laptop, he now keep running over and flopping out on it when i dare to leave the room and sits there sniffing it and then pooping, and when i try to sit back down he bites me and rumbles, i have to shove him off and chase him away. He is such a bully!

Bonnie wheeks for food constantly and if I walk away without giving her a treat she loudly drinks from the water bottle. I actually think she's just deliberately rattling the ball in the bottom cause if I go back over to the cage she just sits and looks expectantly at me.

I also have both piggies trained that if a scissors clicks together it means grass for a treat. So cue lots of wheeking when the kids decide its art time.

Where do I BEGIN?

Tuulikki, I'm convinced, is way smarter than your average pig. This means that she gets bored. Easily. And I wish I could have a day where she doesn't rip the hayrack off the cage so meal time is easier. She also pulls the water bottle up, then lets go and watches it smack into the bars of the cage with a CLANG. She'll do this over and over and over. At like 3 AM. Also Tove loves zucchini, but Tuulikki hates it, so if she finds it she will push it OUT OF THE CAGE. I have to pick up the pile of zucchini on the floor and throw it away. The only way I can curb these habits is to constantly give her new toys: boxes, paper bags, toilet paper rolls. If she doesn't have something to do and investigate, she's a monster lol. But she's myyyy lil monster. :3

I love both my boys habits even the dirty ones XD

Rohan:
1) Has a cheeky habit of tugging at my sleeve to tell me when he's had enough cuddle time and tupping my hand if he doesn't want his head stroked.
2) He also likes to hang his dangleberries over the edge of mummy's arm to air out his laundry :P
3) His most dirty habit involves his strawberry bed, which he enjoys tipping over so that all his poos fall out of the bed and onto the fleece and because the bed is now on it's side that means that he wees on the fabric, usually all around the entrance, so when it comes to cleaning time guess who gets a wet hand ... mummy!

Paddy:
1) Likes to comes out from hiding and does the most spectacular wheek when he hears a certain type of bag rattle, using the shopping bags as he always knows when I've bought some fresh veggies and usually runs upstairs to tell Rohan.
2) He also has the cheeky habit of giving me the run around when it comes to herding him into the his bed for cuddle time and he just sits there even when you give him a gentle push with your hand. Stubborn devil!
3) Paddy has also developed a rather dirty habit of late, he has taken up scent marking ... on me! That wonderful, unmistakable fishy smell, because of course mummy belongs to Paddy!

Anselmo is the King of Perfect Timing. On Wednesday he sat on my boyfriends lap for about 15 minutes. Then he got off. Boyfriend said "What a good boy. You've sat on me for ages and you've not done any poops or we...." *cue Anselmo weeing on him*
