Check out my new hutch!! (pictures) U/D Finished!

Guinea-Tia-Flossie

It's taken us ages, and it's still not quite finished, but we have one cage done and the boys have moved in. We have 2 more boxes to make (already made one but the paint is drying) and then just the hasp locks to put on and the other two will be finished. Then my two groups of 3 girls can move in!

Each cage measures 6ft long 3ft wide and 2ft high! Here is what it looks like so far....

aw thank you! It has taken a rreeaalllyy long time to build so i'm pleased that tomorrow it will be finished! ;D I'm quite impressed with my Dads DIY skills too!

That is fabulous, fantastic amount of space. I think you need to take a pic of it with you stood next to it so we can get a proper idea of the space. Or even better in it!

Yes it is. When it was just the frame and had no sides or back it looked like a bunk bed! So yes Shaz you can have a good nights sleep in it! Although you'll have to watch the boys, they love to nibble feet ? ::) lol

Yes it is. When it was just the frame and had no sides or back it looked like a bunk bed! So yes Shaz you can have a good nights sleep in it! Although you'll have to watch the boys, they love to nibble feet ? ::) lol

lol i bet they would Shaz...they really aren't fussy! My Mum went out in Flip Flops once, even though i warned her not too. I watched her out the window as the boys were running loose round the garden, they all spotted her and ran over and mobbed her! haha omg it was so funny, i had to hold back my laughter when she came in with one flip flop left and her feet a bit bitten and scratched.

::) Mums eh!

Thanks everyone! :D The bunnies like it so i'm pleased. I will have the other groups in it tonight, so i'll post some more pictures when everyone is in it.

The rabbits i do yes...they develop a winter coat which is very thick. But now summer is coming they are shedding this coat, and it's a nightmare. You open the cage and you get hit with a big fur cloud! lol

haha I have a ledge on my rabbit cage door and it always has a thick layer of Bunny hair ;D

The cage looks awesome finished! And the bunnies seem very content :)
 
Oh I just want to climb in for a cuddle with those lovely buns. You have done a great job of the hutches.
