after reading all the reviews on vetbed i decided it was worth giving it a go. the only problem is that i need quite a lot and it is expensive. i found these on ebay and they are big enough for my 4 hutches. only thing is i will need to get some more at some point to change when they are in the wash. these were the cheapest i could find. if anyone knows of anywhere cheaper please let me know for my next purchase. (hope the link works)
sorry the link isn't working. basically i am getting 5 x 1m by 1.52m for £37.50 + £10.00 postage

That's a lot of vetbed - sounds a good price! I've recently bought vetbed for my pair of boars to try, but paid full whack at my local pet shop (£32 for 2 2ft x 2ft piece) they do love it tho! Only thing is it takes up so much more room in the washing machine than fleece not sure how * will get on fitting such big pieces in! I've ended up cutting mine in half and just use a smaller piece at one end and fleece throughout the rest of the cage - so * might find * don't need to buy more! :)

Our local garden centre has it for£19.99 a square meter, do you think that's reasonable. Mine love there fleece burrow bags I made them but not sure wether to get the vetbed! mallethead

I needed to get my vetbed in a hurry as Otis had a reaction to wood shavings so I went straight to the petshop and paid full price. If i get any more I'd go online though as it's much cheaper. bsjlmb got 5 pieces at 1.5 x 1 metre from ebay for just under £50 so this is much better value than your garden centre if you're not in a hurry for it. You could always get a small piece (like half a metre) if they let you from the garden centre to see if you like it and then buy more online in future.

This guy is good - he mainly supplies the rubber back bedding which I actually prefer compared to the green backing. Reasonable prices and p&p too, he will get larger pieces if you email.

Have used these suppliers too:

I have spent hundreds of pounds on the stuff as we have 18 piggies in 6 large two level pens - love it (and the piggies don't complain either :)))
