I currently buy hay from my local pet shop, but it is quite dusty (I get hayfever whenever I've been rummaging through the hay more than normal), my current bale's strands are a bit short, and a bit expensive. It has a good quality green colour to it, though. Any recommendations?

Are these websites any good?

Yes!

The Timothy from the 1st site you posted is great -plus the fact, it's British which saves on air miles. It is a bit coarse so I wouldn't look at it as bedding hay. It is a lovely hay for hay racks or to stuff Iin toilet rolls.

A lot of forum members swear by the Ings hay from hay for pets.

The othet 2 sites I have bought from are Dust Free Hay and The Hay Experts.

I had a lovely batch of meadow hay from Dust Free Hay recently.

Hay is a natural product so varies from batch to batch. If you ever receive a delivery thst you are not happy with, let them know.

I don't really want coarse hay because I use hay for the piggies to sleep in as well as to eat from cardboard tubes. Hay for pets looks pretty good, thanks for the site recommendations. :)

I have Dust Free Hay. But I find my four are really fussy and I tend to use other cheaper hays to tempt them. Wilkos meadow hay is reasonably priced and they eat that till they get fed up of that. I have tried Hay for Pets and now that's all gone I will be ordering more to add to the variety they demand.
