Cheap cages?

Hello all

I'm looking for a bit of advice on where to get cheap store bought cages from. I'm upgrading from 2 piggies to 4 very soon so need to sort out the housing situation ASAP.

I currently have a 4x2 c&c split down the middle with my single boar Nigel on one side and a foster boar Cole on the other side. as my husband has become so attached to the little foster boy we are going to keep him. Both boys are off dating with Suzy next weekend so i really need to get my new setup sorted soon. I want to be able to stack the two cages on top of each other but don't trust a c&c that size over 2 levels.

Does anyone know where I can get 140 or 150 cages at a reasonable price? I can only seem to find 120 cages. The cheapest I have found is £150 for 1!

Have you tried eBay ? I once got a huge hamster cage when my son had a hamster . It was second hand but got it at a great price . Worth a look :)
 
Or put a wanted ad on preloved or gumtree
 
Tried eBay and gumtree. I will just have to keep checking them to hope something comes up soon
 
As long as you use lots of cable ties you won't have an issue with stacked c&c cages. I'm planning on creating a three or even four story set of cages for my pigs. It will probably cost you less to add to your currently set up rather than buying two new cages.
 
Zooplus usually has really good deals.
I'd be interested to see stacked c&c set ups.
 
Problem solved a girl who i work with has just offered me a free 150 cage! Her bunny died last year and she doesnt want to get another one so she said i can have her cage! Yippee.
