Junior Guinea Pig
We've had Duncan and Connor for around 3 wks now and they are settling in nicely. Having started with newspaper and shavings combo for indoor cage and finding this is quite tricky for a 7year old to clean out without making his room look like a stable!, well I was pretty messy too..have spent a few evenings this week cutting up a fleece blanket to go with some old towels and newspaper on the bottom. Also got a bit inspired and made a snuggle bag and sack to make it easier for my son to move them around for cleaning, outdoor run and for petting. Well piggies are loving it, I'm popping them out into a mini run in the bedroom to shake off the poop then all back tidy again, they like the change of scene and more tasty greens. On return they are doing little jumps, don't recall my outdoor piggies doing this in the 1970's! I think they want the snuggle sack left in for bed time
