Junior Guinea Pig
So, I've spent the last few weeks getting the stuff and building the girls their new 4x3 C&C with a 1x3 hayloft. At the moment they are in a 4ft two storey hutch so having to house both in my front bedroom which is driving me mad as I don't have enough room to get to the curtains!
I've been making adaptations already (is it possible to build a c&c and just leave it aone?).
I was looking at the hayloft and thinking that the correx sides were way too short and they would kick hay out all over the place so I bought some perspex and had my cousin cut it to fit the sides, then drill holes so I can cabletie it on.
Now I am looking at the hutch thinking its perfectly good just not big enough so now I am working on plans to combine the two. The hutch will be the one end and I am going to take the front off, drill holes in the wood, take the one end off the c&c then attach the two together giving them both the two storey hutch and the c&c with the hayloft being the other end.
Just got to work out now how to attach the two together becuase I am thinking that come cleaning it would be useful to be able to seperate the c&c to give easier access to the ground floor of the hutch so investigating different types of clips.
Has anyone else combined a hutch/cage with a c&c set up?
Anyway, must go back to clip research. Will post photos as soon as I get a new camera
