Change in Fur Colour?

Hi All,

I have a all ginger girlie who is into her 5th year now (Unsure of her birthday!).

All of a sudden she has started getting darker fur on her back and now on her face.

Is this is sign of old age? Like greying in humans, dogs etc?

No, it is down to genetics and not age and it is not connected to their actual life span or any health issues. Changes in markings and coat colours over the course of a life are actually not all that rare. Some gingers are simply not 'colour fast'.
