KAZ
My two girls are now about 11 weeks old. To say they are different would be the understatement of the year!
Phoebe will wheek at anybody who passes (including the dog) asking for food and she will run towards you and climb up the bars of the cage trying to get closer. She will let you stroke her in the cage without running away and will even approach my hand as I am putting down the food bowl!
Monica who is boss pig seems to be going backwards re the handling aspect. She runs away when I approach the cage, if Phoebe has managed to get food from anyone of us (we are putty in her piggy feet) Monica will come for the food but if I try to stroke her will run back downstairs, leaving Phoebe happily stuffing her face!
Phoebe wheeks for England and in fact my husband says she sounds more like a bird tweeting than a guinea pig! Whereas Monica relies on Phoebe to beg and doesn't make a sound!
How things have changed in this household as it was Monica who was the bold one initially.
I just wish that Monica was not so shy, still I know the key word is patience, patience and yet more patience!
It is very difficult when you have one that clearly loves everyone including the dog, you tend to make more fuss of her because she asks for it!
