Celery leaves.

I think it's highish in oxalates. I don't buy it all the time but when I do they get a small (half inch) chunk daily until they and I have used it up (I love it). It would probably be another month before I get it again.

I cut maybe a 3 inch piece into thin strips, between the 2 of them. Do you think that's too much?

Yeah I love it too, with cream cheese.

I give a little less but it's personal choice. I'm not an expert and it's years ago I looked into the diet so I don't remember clearly the reason I do things the way I do.

Yes they can eat the leaves but they are not a daily food (high oxalates)

Oh no, I give them celery most days. They're not a huge fan of the stalks, but love the leaves.
I give them celery (stalks) every day too, along with coriander, cucumber and red Pepper then they'll get a small portion of a different veg each day.

They had some leaves this morning and gobbled them up 😂

The list given to me a few years ago by the vet who operated on Rusty's stones (senior exotic who specialised in GPs and had studied diets), the leaves are high in calcium the stalk is high in oxalates, she advised not to feed daily. She has now moved overseas so I can't check with her if she is still of this opinion maybe things have changed.

My bunny loves celery leaves, but she doesn't get them often as the others have said, they're high in oxalates or calcium (and she only has one kidney now!)
The pigs do love celery though. Perhaps we'll cut down the amount they get though, they've been having it daily! 😬

Before I found this forum and therefore the guidance on feeding celery, my RB boar Honey (the original poggle) had celery regularly - the leaves in particular were his favourite and we'd give them maybe a few times per week. We got away with it, but he never had any urinary issues at all so we may have just been lucky that his genes were on our side!
